CM Storm Recon Gaming Mouse & Skorpion Mouse Bungee Review

Over the past few years CM Storm, the gaming peripheral arm of Cooler Master, have built themselves a formidable reputation of delivering quality products aimed squarely at the enthusiast gamer. Their range of keyboards, mice and other accessories puts them at the forefront of the market and today on our test bench we will be taking a look at their latest mid-range gaming mouse, the Recon. We'll also be taking a look at the Skorpion Mouse Bungee, a peripheral that ensures we never miss a kill due to a tangled mouse cord.

Packaging and Bundle

The Skorpion mouse bungee is supplied in a cube package with a large clear plastic section at the front and top to give us a good view of the device. The distinctive CM Storm brand is displayed just above the Skorpion name on the front of the box.

The four sides of the package offer us a great amount of detail on the product itself. This includes a list of key features, provided in a number of languages as well as a large graphic of the Skorpion mouse bungee.

The CM Storm Recon mouse is supplied in a medium sized cardboard box. The front of the Recon package has a large stylised graphic of the mouse along with a note of the key features of the mouse. Turning to the back of the package we find a list of the specifications of the Recon mouse.

As with other CM Storm mice the Recon box has a flip lid. Opening the lid we find that the mouse is visible through a moulded clear plastic container. On the inside of the lid there is another graphic of the mouse highlighting the key features of the Recon.
