Inside our review sample was a Core i7-3740QM CPU which is a quad core model with hyperthreading that runs at 2.7GHz as standard, turbo-ing up to 3.7GHz when required. Connected to this is 8GB of DDR3, on our sample using a 1600MHz dual channel configuration.
Built on to the CPU is Intel's HD 4000 GPU however it is not enabled on this build, instead we have two GTX 680M cards in SLI. Each card has access to 4GB of memory (GDDR5-900MHz) and runs at 719MHz stock, 758MHz boost with 32 ROPS, 1344 CUDA cores and a 256-bit bus. DirectX11, PhysX, CUDA, OpenCL, DirectCompute 5.0, Blu-Ray acceleration, etc are all supported by this GPU.
