DVD Burning:

I decided to do an all out DVD burning test on the SOHW-1633S. I tested all of the drive's possible DVD burning speeds, from 2.4x to 16x using DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD+R DL media.

For the DVD+R burns and DVD+RW burn I used five DVD+Rs and one DVD+RW and wrote 4.3GB (full DVD5) of data to each disc and for the DVD Double Layer burn I took 7.9GB (full DVD9) of data and burned it to a DVD+R DL disc.

Overall the SOHW-1633S's burning performances was excellent. It's pretty impressive to burn a DVD in six-minutes. It's also good to be able to burn a dvd almost as fast as a CD !
