Starting with 3DMark we quickly take a look at some stock benches on the Performance pre-set and see that the new Sapphire XT falls in-between a normal 7870 and the 7950 as expected. It also just edges out a stock 660 Ti. When we then move to the extreme profile we get a score of X2135 which is very good but moving to our overclocked settings really bumps up the score.
Those settings were 1285MHz core and 1760MHz memory which are pretty great for such a "mainstream" card. We are sticking with those clocks from this point on in the review and the comparison card is a GTX 660 Ti maxed out with 135 MHz extra on the core and 232MHz on memory (on the Palit Jetstream Factory Overclocked model).
