The Silencer Mk.III 850W

The Silencer Mk.III stands out from many PSUs on the market due to the white paintwork used on its chassis. Branding stickers are found on the sides and a black fan grill on top with the product specs listed on the base.

The chassis measures 180 x 150 x 86 mm.

At the end of the PSU we find a rocker switch for power along with perforations to allow airflow out of the PSU. The three pin connector is also present as is another switch which controls the fan, more on that shortly.

Round at the other end of the unit we find the hard wired cables along with ports for the modular cables. These are not the standard plastic sockets, instead they are metal 4-pin connectors with screw caps used to attach the wiring. Each is covered when not in use.

Each of the hard wired cables is braided and this ends in rubber sections to ensure they are durable. The modular cables are all flat and as noted above, end in metal screw sections.
