Sennheiser PC 363D Headset Review

In recent times as well as continuing to develop their pro and consumer audio products Sennheiser have been producing headsets designed for enthusiast/professional gamers and their PC 360 headset which we tested a couple of years ago is still one of the best gaming peripherals we have ever used. It was great to see then that Sennheiser have updated their range with the PC 363D, a revision of the award winning PC 360 which adds a USB soundcard and virtual 7.1 audio. Today we have a sample of the PC 363D on our test bench so read on to find out if Sennheiser's latest gaming headset is as good as its predecessor.

Packaging and Bundle

The first thing which jumps out at us with the packaging for the PC 363D is that the green/G4ME branding of previous headsets has gone. With this model we still get a note of its gaming intentions however the familiar Sennheiser blue is most prominent. Inside the headset and bundled items are encased in a plastic shell which splits in half to reveal the contents.

As well as the USB soundcard which we will look at later the PC 363D arrives with a short set-up guide but really all we need to know is that we install a basic driver and control panel then plug in the USB connector and cables. That's it.
