ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Motherboard Champion Series Review

It is common knowledge that Intel are preparing to launch their next generation mainstream CPU range however those looking for the best performance money can buy will still have to look to existing parts such as the i7-3960X/i7-3970X. These CPUs have more cores and more threads than alternate models and arrive with a whole host of benefits like unlocked multipliers and support for quad channel memory. So it comes as no surprise that manufacturers, while preparing for the newer products, are still pushing their high end X79 based boards.

One of the more recent additions to the high end X79 market is ASRock's Fatal1ty X79 Champion motherboard. With a bunch of high end features such as enhanced on-board audio (including headphone amp) and support got quad SLI as well as the fastest CPUs around there is a lot to make this product worth more than a little consideration. So today we take a look at the Fatal1ty X79 Champion board.
