Corsair RM750 Power Supply Review

Corsair RM750 Power Supply Review

Corsair have built quite a reputation for themselves in the PSU marketplace. By producing units which use high quality components and designs, pricing them competitively and offering industry leading warranties there really wasn't much to complain about. Now Corsair are refreshing their range of available PSUs with the introduction of the mainstream RM series. We have the 750w version on our test bench today.

Packaging and Bundle

Corsair use a familiar design style for the RM series packaging, just tweaking the colour scheme from their other PSUs. Inside we find the PSU surrounded by foam, wrapped in plastic and sitting beside a bag of extra cables. Also included is the product documentation, cable ties, screws and an extra cable. Every RM PSU arrives with the section which connects to the PSU howerver the USB section is available separately. This cable allows us to connect the PSU to our motherboards internal USB headers and access some information, such as fan speed, in the Corsair Link utility.
