While a well designed high end enthusiast PC case is first on everyone's list, the extraordinary price associated usually drives most people towards middle range cases which offer a better price to features ratio.
Usually the primary criteria when shopping for cases are the exterior design, thermal and acoustic performance and the number of features. A good case usually is a balanced combination of those criteria; a case without fans would be very silent but the thermal performance would be awful, while a case with extremely fast fans would offer extremely good thermal performance but the noise would make it intolerable for many people. With those criteria in mind NZXT designed the Hush, a case which can offer proper cooling and good looks but at the same time be entirely silent and comes at an affordable price. Perhaps one of the most balanced quality cases ever designed? We will soon find out.

Packaging and Bundle
The Hush is shipped well supported by hard Styrofoam pieces in a thick cardboard box. It would take a blow of considerable force to penetrate this kind of packaging and cause physical damage to the case itself during transportation. The artwork on the box is subtle but attractive, rare for the packaging of a case since you will not usually see it on a store shelf. The bundle of the Hush is poor, since besides the basic manual and a ferrite ring there are only the necessary screws and standoffs. NZXT decided to go with a minimalistic approach, offering only the bare essentials.
