Video Encoding
Our video conversion test uses VSO Software’s ConvertXtoDVD software. This application takes advantage of all four cores on each processor and allows us to convert almost any video file format to DVD. Our test file was a 121Mb, 720p .mkv file lasting one minute and one second.

The Intel based video encoding test is one of the few in this review which favours the G33 system, finishing in one minute and fifty six seconds it is eight seconds faster than the 630i. Looking to the AM2+ systems they are once again very close but the XFX motherboard is slightly faster.
