Our testing was performed at 1920x1200 and 2560x1600. Once again all in-game settings are on their highest comparable setting.
For the first time in this review the GTX 280 is able to outperform the X2, however the Asus board manages to narrow the margin by only a few frames per second at 1920x1200. At 2560x1600 however the 280 GTX has the edge by 12fps over the reference card and 7fps over the TOP, ATI's scaling here suffers a little.
As well as enhanced performance from Nvidia here it is also worth considering the ability of the GeForce setup being able to enable PhysX technology in the game, something ATI cannot yet compete with.
