Colin McRae Rally games have long been a feature in our reviews; the latest edition (2005) allows you to drive through some highly detailed landscapes and is a good test of any graphics card.

Both provide excellent frame rates at settings up to and including 1280x960 with 4xAA and 16xAF. These are really great results considering the price bracket both card fall into. There was a slight dip below 25fps on the NX6600 however this only occurred once in the test circuit and really wasn’t noticeable when playing.

Previously we have noticed some stuttering on the Geforce 6800 range of cards when playing CMR however this was not evident on the NX6600.
