On the last page we saw that the combination of GeForce 9300 and Celeron E1400 offered us some good value performance for the cost of ownership but they were completely outperformed by the Athlon/790G combination. When we look at gaming performance we once again see that it is the AMD set-up which is giving us better value for money, although it has to be said that all of the systems are perfectly playable at 1280x720 with Low detail and none are able to take the step up to medium.

When playing World in Conflict we saw that the Athlon 7750 and 6000+ were reasonably close in performance with the newer model taking the lead overall. In Counter Strike source the 7750 is once again the top performer but this time we see that the gap is more significant and the Black Edition manages to achieve an average framerate 16fps higher.
