Introduction
For quite a long time enthusiasts have not opted to use microATX motherboards for high performance systems as they have rarely been anywhere near as good as their ATX equivalent. In recent times however this has changed with the launch of boards such as the Rampage 2 Gene and DFI X58-T3H6 which both offer exceptional features in the smaller form factor.
These great boards have to be housed in a smaller chassis though or it defeats the purpose of buying a microATX board and one company who specialise in cases for this specific market are SilverStone. In fact at Cebit this year some of the most impressive cases we noticed were at the SilverStone booth.
One such chassis is the SG04 and today we have a sample on our test bench. As well as looking at the usual aspects such as build quality, features and thermal performance we will also be taking a look at how fast we can make a system in this chassis. Are two high spec graphics cards and the Core-I7 useable? Read on to find out.
