SiSoft Sandra allows us to see how each board performs in a set of synthetic tests which ensure repeatable comparisons across a wide range of products.
The Sisoft Sandra memory bandwidth test result show that the two modules in the M17x are running in dual channel mode. Increasing the volume to 8GB is an option in the system configurator and while it would not significantly increase the Sandra scores it would make the system run smoother when multiple demanding applications are in use.
