Bioshock is the second title in this review to use the Unreal 3 engine but the levels are much more claustrophobic than Unreal Tournament and so provide a different challenge.
Whereas with UT3 there was little to show between the cards in avergage frames per second the lack of a framerate cap in Bioshock really seperates each product. There is once again a gap between 8800’s and 2900’s and only the XT comes close to playable performance on ATI hardware. The GT’s all provide great performance, even the stock clocked XFX and Asus models.
