Synology Disk Station DS410j - Introduction

Today we are taking a look at the latest NAS offering from Synology, the Disk Station DS410j is a 4 disk RAID capable NAS solution that runs off a Linux based O/S. As media stored in the home becomes more common place we have started seeing more and more solutions such as these coming onto the market. The Synology unit is more than just a NAS box though, with features such as sharing for up to two printers, adding it to a Windows active directory domain, media/iTunes integration and this all wrapped up with a plethora of admin and security options it will be interesting to see how easy it is to use and if it justifies its price.
