NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 Review
“Finally.”
That was the sole word on NVIDIAs opening slide during the press day last week and it was a pretty good summary of how just about everyone feels about the GTX 480/470. The delay itself wouldn’t have been so bad, that happens in this industry but the amount of rumours and guesswork which has circulated in the last 6-9months or so has been insane; at one point it was even suggested that NVIDIA had decided to can the whole product.
So today one of the most discussed graphics card launches of all time takes place; join us as we take a look at the real world performance of the GTX 480 covering DirectX 9, 10, 10.1 and 11 gaming, GPU Computing (CUDA), High Definition playback, PhysX, 3DVision, gaming with 32x anti-aliasing and even 3D-DVD playback. If that’s not enough then how about internal and external temperature readings, power use then some overclocking?
If the GTX 480 does it, we have the results.
