Wolfenstein uses the famous quake III engine which has been a gamers favourite for a long time now, even though its getting on a bit and looks quite dated when put next to a modern title such as Farcry, it is still a good test to use as it will show how your back catalogue will run on these boards.

The 9550 board decimates the Nvidia FX boards in this test with almost double the frame rate at 1024x768, even maintaining playable rates of over 30 frames per second at 1600x1200. Turning on AA and AF removes the FX boards from the competition as they only maintain playable rates at 800x600, whereas he 9550 handles up to 1280x1024 with 2AA and 8AF.
