Conclusion:
The AV8 is a board which should be given serious consideration by any Athon64 user. It is very stable even when overclocked, performance is first class along with some excellent configuration options for the enthusiast. As mentioned earlier in the review there are a few layout issues, however these can hopefully be resolved in future revisions and are more of an inconvenience than a problem. A decent bundle of cables and well written documentation is also a plus, the only feature we’d have liked to see that’s not here is a second serial ATA raid controller which other manufacturers have implemented on competing products.

A good solid motherboard from Abit.
