The black sheet glued on
to the side door is there to help lower the noise
levels.
Here’s
a shot showing the internal of the case, those
of you familiar with Antec will know this design
already.
Here
is the rear tri-cool fan that can be set in three
modes; low, medium and high.
The
four slot hard disk drive compartment…
In
order to get to the front slots the front bezel
can be swung open by releasing some latches on
the inside of the case.
Here
you can see the hinges of the front but bezel;
they are made in a way that makes it very simple
to hook the whole thing off, which makes it a
lot easier to work with the case.
In
order to access the dual 92mm fan slot and the
HDD compartment you have to release another thumbscrew.
The
“fan door” can be unhooked in a similar
manner as the front bezel, for quick and easy
access.
The
dust filter is washable and very easy to take
a part from the door.
The
Hard Disk Drives can be mounted in two different
ways; you can mount them on the “snap-in”
trays with silicon shock absorbers…
…or
you can use the textile “rubber” bands
that basically lets the Hard Drive hang freely,
in this way it is impossible that the drives will
transfer any vibrations to the rest of the chassis.
This is however NOT recommended if you plan on
moving the case around a lot, due to risk of the
hard drives slipping out and getting damaged.
