The interior:

The Side door on the Dragon is secured by thumb screw, simply release them and pull the door backwards to get the door off.

When I took the side door off the first thing I noticed was the internal paintjob did not match the external coating. I would have hoped that MGE had done a better job when masking, after all some tape isn’t that expensive and it would have certainly created the image of a more professional finish if this had been the case.

Now I’ve gotten the poor paintjob out of the way lets continue with the interior of the case, here you see the Dragon without its door, looks roomy enough.

Inside the case I found a little black box that contained a manual and electrical cord, screws, and device clips used to fasten HDD’s DVD burners and some other goodies like zip ties.

The fans that are supplied with the dragon:

Back Exhaust fan

Front intake fan along with the drive bays.

The fans supplied with the Dragon are 80mm blue led fans. What I didn't like is the chassis only supports 80mm, with the heat of modern day hardware I would have liked to see at least 92mm fan support, preferably 120mm. The vent holes also look pretty restrictive and the lack of dust filters is another negative.

On a more positive note this chassis has a real removable motherboard tray. Just release four thumbscrews and pull it out.

This is a beautiful sight; I only wish that more manufacturers could follow this example. It’s so much easier to work on a motherboard tray like this.
