After looking at the interior of the Infiniti we surmissed that it would perform very well, but it still managed to impress us. The power lines stay well within their specifications, while the voltage regulation circuit of the unit is remarkably smooth and quick. Not one of the 12V lines failed to continuously deliver above 12,16V even when we overloaded the unit for our reliability testing. The performance of the regulation circuit and the power delivery are certainly remarkable.
The thermal performance is well above average, with the unit staying quite cool under normal load. At high loads as the intake temperature of the unit increases the exhaust temperature significantly increases as well, but 41,7C exhaust temperature at 100% load it is nothing near hot for a high class unit. Matter of fact, the fan speeds up and becomes audible above 75% load which means that the Infiniti is dead silent at and below 50% load. The efficiency of the unit is outstanding as well. While 86% is not the best efficiency we have seen, the Infiniti is the only unit to date which could maintain its efficiency above 82% across its whole output range.
