Unreal Tournament 2003 is another test which has featured in our graphics card reviews, the top of the range graphics cards have been showing crazy results in the Flyby scores (200+ fps) however they have always been limited in by the Athlon XP, especially in Botmatch.

 

 

Some excellent scores in Flyby using the FX-53, over 301fps at stock speeds is faster than any CPU we have tested to date. Another point of note is the exceptional botmatch scores at both 800x600 and 1024x768 the system achieved sores of over 100fps. This performance is a real selling point if you plan to run your own UT server and want to have an unaffected gaming experience. This will also translate over to the soon to be released UT2004 making the FX-53 the CPU to have if you’re a UT addict.
