RightMark Memory Analyzer is another standard memory benchmark. We ran the standard stream benchmark and noted the average results. As usually RMA gives results close to Sandra, as both are synthetic benchmarking programs. Again we see the HV series to perform exceptionally well at 250MHz due to their tight timings.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is an application which can also make a very good benchmark. It could easily be one of the best real world benchmarks available for testing the processor and RAM speed. At the two first benchmark runs where the processor speed remains the same, we see that the difference of the RAM speed can boost the performance of Photoshop CS2 by a few seconds. By upping the HTT speed at 260MHz, we see a significant performance gain as Photoshop CS2 is heavily relying on the CPU speed and the extra 100MHz do help a lot.

Doom 3 is a popular first person shooter game, which includes a time demo benchmark as well. We ran this benchmark 4 times, discarding the first run and calculated the average result out of the other 3 runs. Once more see that the performance is better with the RAM running at its stock speed with tight timings, rather than a higher speed with loose timings.
