DH Photoshop Bench V2
Most people are tired of running 3dmark and Pcmark and similar benchmarks, while these are visually attractive benchmarks they are not in many cases indicative of real world situations, this is not the case with Photoshop. This is a real world application with a myriad of uses appealing to all users from digital photographers to budding graphic designers. It is also a wonderful test of all round system performance, specifically memory bandwidth and CPU processing power. As always the Intel Core 2 Duo performs great in our Photoshop benchmark. The G33M motherboard proves yet again that Intel’s chipset are by far the fastest, resulting in a huge seven second lead before the nVidia chipset. In no test did the G33 stand out especially, but overall the small differences accumulated to create a nice 5% gap between the boards.
