To test the performance of the cards we used the integrated card reader of a Sony Vaio VGN-FE21B laptop. The Gaming Edition MS Duo Pro card gives an average of 5,5MB/s on both read and write performance tests, which is very good for a MS Duo Pro card, and continues to perform with a sub-1ms access time. However the really impressive thing about the Lexar MS Duo Pro card is its endurance factor, which is over twice as high as other similar flash memory products.

The Gaming Edition Secure Digital card is considerably faster, reaching 10MB/s read speed and 5MB/s write speed. While these speeds cannot be considered to be very fast for the now very mature Secure Digital flash cards, they are still decent and more than adequate for gaming consoles.
