Logitech is a Swiss based
company that has been turning heads for a while in the peripheral
world. I’m sure most of us tech people own at least
one Logitech product whether it be mouse, speaker, joystick,
or webcam. Their products always rate amongst the best in
whatever field they’re in.
Today we’ll be looking
at their newest mouse offering, the MX518 Gaming Grade Mouse.
For those of you who haven’t passed by the MX518 in
the store, this is what the mouse and box look like.

Just make sure the box isn’t damaged
if you decide to purchase it (I would like to thank 2BuyStore
for poor packaging). Now once you take the box out you’ll
find a plastic shell encasing the mouse, instruction manual/installation
CD, and USB to PS/2 adapter.
I would just like to give Logitech credit
for writing “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Installing
a USB Mouse.” It’s right on par with famous
literature like the instructions on pop-tart boxes.
On a good note, I really liked the CD slipcase
they used, it’s made from the same material as good
CD wallet sleeves. Does something like this really matter?
Of course not, but it’s a nice touch.
