Since
the motherboard temp reported by various programs
does not measure the temperature of the North
Bridge but the ICH7R Southbridge on the Asus P5W
DH. Our testing methodology will be to push the
FSB, and see if there is any gain going from the
stock cooler to the Noctua NC-U6 cooler.
With
the multiplier lowered and all relevant voltages
set to its max values we started to crank the
FSB up step by step.

We used AS5 on both coolers
to make the results as comparable as possible.
As you can see in the above graph the Noctua NC-U6
really helped with attaining a higher FSB (12mhz).
