Final words and conclusion

To be honest, when I first received the Gold series EL PC3200 GX XTC 2GB kit my feelings were mixed. I knew that the Gold series from OCZ are not meant to be awesome overclockers but designed more to fulfill the needs of the gaming community while still remaining affordable, so I did not know what to expect from them. What I found out was that the modules were not only a jewel to have inside a windowed case but could also hold a substantial overclock for those who do not like their systems running stock or like experimenting with them.

The XTC heatspreaders can slightly enhance the cooling of the RAM modules, but their main advantages in my humble opinion are that the modules are considerably lighter and their appearance is improved.

Thus I believe that our Heavenly Hardware Gold Award is a perfect match for the Gold series EL PC3200 GX XTC 2GB kit, as it is a very good high performance kit for users who need large memory size combined with good performance, while being great value for money.
