The Sticks
Something you can always say about
OCZ’s high spec sticks is that they really
do look the business. Our review product, the Gold
6400, feature Copper heat spreaders with a reflective
gold effect.
Ours is the 2x512mb dual channel
kit and features 2 240pin sticks with timings of
5-5-5-10 however you can get single 512mb modules
as well as 2x1024mb kits. As the module names suggest
the sticks run at 400mhz (800mhz DDR2) and so are
ideal for high end Intel and Nforce based boards
such as the Asus P5WD2.
This OCZ model is guaranteed to
run at 1.9v however the modules are actually rated
up to 2.2v (under warranty) which should be more
than enough for the average overclockers out there.
