Kingston HyperX PC3-14400 DDR3-1800

The Kingston package is more sturdy than the one used by OCZ and the layout of information visible is different. With OCZ we can see the full module timings through the packaging. For Kingston it is the voltage which is visible on the memory stickers with a CAS latency quoted on the front of the packet. Items such as TRAS are not listed.

As these are HyperX modules the heatsinks, which are aluminium, are branded accordingly. As with previous models with the same branding we were impressed by the look of the heatsinks, they really are the nicest around. At the end of the module are various bits of information, the only one of use being the voltage required for operation. Kingston rates these sticks at 1800 MHz with timings of 8-8-8-24 when using a voltage of 1.9v and as with all good products these modules have a lifetime warranty.
