PREY

This recently released title is the latest to use the Doom 3 engine, following in the steps of Quake 4 which it has replaced in our review suite. PREY mixes some high detail OPENGL graphics with a unique soundtrack to create a very immersive and enjoyable experience. Our testing was performed at 1920x1200 with 4xAA and 8xAF.

PREY gives us higher overall figures when compared to F.E.A.R. due to the less demanding nature of the OpenGL engine used by the game. The level of performance difference provided by the two memory products is quite similar. Again at DDR2-800 the products are equally matched and moving up to DDR2-1066 results in a small performance difference in favour of the Dominators.
