Doom 3 was one of the most demanding games with phenomenal graphics at the time of its release. The game also has an included timedemo which we run as a benchmark. We always used the Ultra detail settings.

The Mushkin XP2 modules seem to work very well on the AM2 platform, as once again they have a performance advantage against the rest of the competition. The A-Data Vitesta again appear to fall behind when not overclocked, but quickly close the gap when set to tight timings. On the Intel platform, the overclocking capabilities of the OCZ Platinum rev2 win the day.
