Where the X800 cards excel in Source the Geforce has is areas of excellence too, Doom3 is one of those areas. At every setting, even with ATI’s Doom3 optimised drivers we see that the 6800U has a hefty performance lead through all settings. At Maximum the Radeon scrapes in with the just playable 30fps average however the 6800Ultra handles this demanding engine well and scores 25% higher.
