This time around the fps increases are more noticeable. While the difference is still hard to spot when playing the game, the extra 6 frames per second do make a difference in more intense firefights where the fps counter displays a number lower than 30. Raising the resolution up a notch makes the difference even more noticeable, as the 7900GS Sonic is capable of maintaining high fps when the reference card drops way below 30 frames per second.
