Oblivion
was released some time ago and features one of
the best looking game worlds ever seen on the
PC. The level of detail available mixed with the
exceptional use of HDR lighting is really the
type of experience that redefines what you expect
from your games.

In
our first Oblivion test results are looking great
for the Palit branded card. It is a decent margin
of 10fps ahead of the stock 7900GT 256mb and even
further ahead of the Radeon X1900GT. The difference
in minimum FPS between the two 7900's is equally
impressive and other than one minor blip the Palit
card handles Oblivion perfectly.
Of
course despite this good performance advantage
the 7900's lose out to the Radeon in one important
area, image quality features. On the Radeon we
have the option of enabling more advanced lighting
whist having Anti Aliasing enabled and with a
little bit of tweaking this would be playable
on 1024x768.
