Final words and conclusion

What we did like:

The T800UX2GC4 kit from Super Talent may not look like much, but it certainly fills the requirements as an enthusiast’s product. It is fast, stable and overclocks very well. Even at stock speeds, it is currently the fastest DDR2 PC6400 2GB kit. The size of the modules can make sure that you won’t need more RAM for quite some time, as 2GB are more than enough for games and/or typical applications. Also it is backed up by a lifetime warranty.

What we did not like:

There wasn’t much not to like about this kit, except its availability. Unfortunately it seems that Super Talent modules are currently hard to find in most parts of the world.

Who we would recommend it to:

Any person who needs or merely wants 2GB’s of fast DDR2 RAM for his/her high end system and does not care about fancy looks. As AMD will move to DDR2 RAM sooner or later and Intel continuously evolves their DDR2 platforms, we can safely claim that 2GB of fast DDR2 RAM can be a wise investment.

We believe that the T800UX2GC4 is worthy of our Heavenly Hardware Gold Award. What hampers this kit is its availability alone. Otherwise it can certainly keep up with the big players and provide you a large size of RAM with the performance you need.
