The unit from Ultra performed all the functions one would expect from a UPS. It offers a decent software package to monitor the functionality of UPS and provides (AVR) Advanced Voltage Regulation to serve your goods with very stable and consistent power source.

The Ultra 2000VA UPS was able to provide power to our test rig for 50 minutes before it implemented a forced shutdown. One thing to note is that when the power was pulled the level of battery power dropped from 100% to 77% instantly due to the added load placed on the UPS but that had no bearing on the performance of the UPS. For the price of $229.99 USD it could easily pay for itself after just one nasty electrical storm. We recommend this unit and deem it worthy of our Editors Choice award.
