F.E.A.R. Extraction point

F.E.A.R contained some of the most demanding graphics available. The same is still true for Extraction Point, the expansion pack to the horror FPS. The graphics in the game are pretty much the same as before. We had to rename the executable so we would gain the performance boost from the driver optimizations though. For our testing soft shadows are off.

At 1600x1200 the card had absolutely no problems chewing through the data it received. The gameplay was smooth throughout the entire test. Feeling confident we raised the resolution to 1920x1200 while keeping the rest of the settings intact. While the experience was still fairly smooth, there were several instances where we noticed the framerate drop below 20 frames per second. After we disabled AA the framerate jumped back up and we were able to plow through the enemies at amazing speeds thanks to the responsiveness of the game which was now running at a happy 50fps.
