Bioshock (Crossfire Support)

The game was configured to run at 1280x768 with no anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering, all in-game options were set to their maximum level.

Bioshock is a title which has a driver profile to enable CrossFire and as a result we see some increases in performance between single and dual GPU mode. The differences are not massive by any means but they are there. In terms of playability the Quad is able to just about provide smooth framerates at this level but some tweaking of the detail levels would be required. In a comparison with the 8600 GTS which has a slightly lower retail price we can see that the GeForce series card has a reasonable performance advantage over the ATI based card.
