Half Life 2: Episode 2

Valve continues to impress us with additions to their Source engine and the latest episode in the Half-Life 2 franchise adds excellent outdoor environments. Testing was performed at 1280x768 with 16x anisotropic filtering and a mixture of anti-aliasing settings.

The 2600 XT is essentially a midrange card and the use of anti-aliasing is not possible at our chosen resolution. When we turn of AA  framerates take a significant jump and the Visiontek card provides perfectly smooth performance with image quality that looks great on an HDTV.
