NFSU2 has one hell of a demanding engine, luckily with everything maxed out the game does look phenomenal and it’s with these settings that we’ve tested our cards. Looking at 1280x960 first we see that the X850 XTPE has a small performance lead over the 6800 U. Both minimum FPS for the cards drop below 30fps at 1280 however they still remain playable. Moving on to 1600x1200 we see that the 6800Ultra just drops to unplayable levels and where there is a lot happening on screen things can get a bit jerky. The X850XTPE however just scrapes though as completely playable regardless of the settings used.
