Call of Duty 2

Although this is a relatively old title, its graphics are still some of the best. The smoke effects look almost surreal and having dozens of highly detailed soldiers on the screen all at once is still visually impressive.

 

When Call of Duty 2 came out only the latest and greatest hardware was able to run it with maxed out details. This is no longer the case and even a budget gaming system with an 8800GTS installed can run it flawlessly. Although this is virtually impossible to test, we are certain that the 640Mb of graphical memory was overkill in this game and the 320Mb version would have performed just as well.
