We’ve been using Aquamark 3 in our graphics card reviews for a while now, what we haven’t used in those reviews is the CPU score and so here we have a breakdown of two things. Firstly how well both processors score in the CPU test and secondly how the systems score overall.

 

 

Considering the good results in PCmark2002 the Aquamark results are quite surprising from the Alienware. The Mobility 9600 is certainly holding the system back over a p4 system with a 9600XT. Nonethe less the actual figures are still good, even matching the Athlon64/5900XT results we obtained in a recent review.
