Half-Life
2 Episode 1 is the first in a series of games
that chronicle events after the end of Half-Life
2. The game engine is Valves “Source”
however unlike the original Half-Life 2 valve
have added HDR lighting which works well with
the existing engine to produce some lovely looking
visuals.

Our
Half-Life 2 Episode 1 results show that BFG's
enhanced clock speeds do provide some real world
improvements in performance. Regardless of the
resolution we see increased performance. One interesting
point of note is that when playing at higher resolutions
the gap in performance increases between the two
cards and therefore users of high resolution displays
have a great incentive to go with BFG.
