Dark Messiah

The recently released Dark Messiah: Might and Magic is the latest game to use Valves Source engine. The result is a game which plays flawlessly on mid range hardware however greatly benefits from high end systems where all of the options can be set to maximum. As with Half-Life 2, Dark Messiah features HDR effects for added graphical excellence.

Dark Messiah: Might and Magic provides us with the last gaming test of this review and despite the use of AA and AF at such a high resolution the 8800’s are able to provide us with some excellent frame rates. There are a few drops into the mid twenties on the XFX and low twenties on the BFG however when we were actually playing the game these were not noticeable and so overall a great gaming experience was produced by both products.
