In order to get the optical drives
into the case with both brackets you have to remove
the front of the case. After some failed attempts I
e-mailed Mr. Hsiao about it and he said he had screwed
the front of the case shut for the review sample and
that this wouldn’t happen with the retail packages.
He told me there were a total of six screws so I went
ahead and removed them.
I tried again to remove the front of
the case and it still wouldn’t budge. I tried
squeezing the tips of the plastic holders and pulling
in all sorts of angles but it was no use. I considered
asking my friend to help pinch the plastic holders while
I pulled but then I realized it shouldn’t take
two people to open a case. After pulling harder and
harder one of the plastic holders popped off. When that
happened I decided to give up trying to take off the
front of the case and just make do with what I could.

Since I couldn’t fit the optical
drive in with both brackets I fit it in with one. You
can see the gap below on the left side where the bracket
is attached to the optical drive. Having to resort to
this measure speaks very poorly of the case and I really
hope it doesn’t find its way to retailers in this
condition.
