Conclusion

From the moment the box of the Nautilus 500 is opened we realise that it is a high quality product typical of Corsair. The initial impression of attention to detail is right across the board from the packaging to the installation manual.

Next up we receive the surprise of just how easy it is to install and how quickly it is are back up and running.

No removal of PC components are required as we would find with other water coolers, a huge benefit for novices and experts alike, and the only tool required is a screwdriver to turn a maximum of 2 screws (one if you have a tool-less case).

Once we are up and running the Nautilus 500 provides very good performance which is light years ahead of air cooling and it does so with the addition of nigh on silence. Should the low speed performance not be enough for you there is always the option of using high fan speed to get the extra few degrees of cooling however in our opinion the low setting should be enough for most users most of the time.

To truly emphasise how easy the install is, and how well the unit performs we can only say that the Corsair Nautilus 500 is the first water cooler that we will be using 24/7 in our review system.
