Dark Messiah

The recently released Dark Messiah: Might and Magic is the latest game to use Valves Source engine. The result is a game which plays flawlessly on mid range hardware however greatly benefits from high end systems where all of the options can be set to maximum. As with Half-Life 2, Dark Messiah features HDR effects for added graphical excellence.

Dark Messiah shows a real mix in performance on the 320Mb GTS with frame rates as high as 129fps on the single card solution but dropping down to 24fps at its lowest. Overall the game plays very well on the Foxconn GTS, even at these ultra high settings. Moving to the SLI set-up we see that there is again a large fluctuation in the difference between min and max FPS, also worth noting is that the min FPS figure only increases slightly when enabling SLI where as the avg and max take quite a jump.
